Who is Mark?

Mark is the guy who – armed with just a guitar, a voice, a handful of loops, and a suitcase full of backing tracks – creates a bigger sound than some entire football teams make noise.

As a frontman, singer, and guitarist, he has rocked countless stages with acts like Nicky’s Pride, 5150, A Band Named Sue, Microband M&M, Hot Rod Riot, and the Stray Cats tribute band Blast Off. As a one-man band, he calls himself “Mark, Myself and I” because let’s face it: the three of them together just sound so much fuller and punchier!

So, what exactly do you get?
An energetic live show offering the ease and simplicity of a solo act, but with the punch of a full band. To achieve that massive band sound, Mark takes “The Band in a Box” on the road. Mark sings and plays guitar, while The Band provides tasteful accompaniment whenever needed. It’s all live – well, except for The Band’s backing tracks, of course – but everything happens spontaneously and always with a big smile.

Wedding, small festival, company drinks, garden party, pub gig, living room session, or BBQ: Mark adapts to the setting. Whether the volume is cozy or high-energy, the set duration is flexible (usually 2 or 3 sets of 45 minutes), and he handles the break music too. All you have to do is enjoy yourself and maybe… text the neighbors to let them know things are about to get lively.

Mark doesn’t need much space: a few square meters is enough. A single power outlet is all it takes. No hassle with truckloads of gear or hours-long soundchecks. Within 20 minutes, a mini-band with a maxi-sound is ready to go.

¿Quién es Mark?

Mark es ese músico que —armado únicamente con una guitarra, su voz, algunos *loops* y una maleta llena de pistas de acompañamiento— genera un sonido más potente que el ruido que hacen equipos de fútbol enteros.

Como líder, cantante y guitarrista, ha hecho vibrar innumerables escenarios con grupos como Nicky’s Pride, 5150, A Band Named Sue, Microband M&M, Hot Rod Riot y Blast Off (banda tributo a los Stray Cats). En su faceta de hombre orquesta, se hace llamar “Mark, Myself and I” (Mark, yo mismo y yo), porque, seamos sinceros: ¡todo suena mucho más completo con los tres juntos!

Entonces, ¿qué es exactamente lo que ofrece?
Un espectáculo en vivo lleno de energía que combina la sencillez de una actuación en solitario con la contundencia de una banda completa. Para lograr ese sonido potente, Mark lleva consigo su “Band in a Box” (banda en una caja).
